The Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax will be visiting Anantapur & Kurnool Divisions of Tirupati Commissionerate on 14.6.2012 & 15.6.2012 respectively. He is expected to lay foundation stone for Office & Residential Complex for the staff of Anantapur Division on 14.6.2012. He is also expected to lay foundation stone for Residential Complex for the officers of Kurnool Division on 15.6.2012.

Now that's a good step for the welfare of the staff. The Unions/associations should also press their demands for construction of Quarters for the staff at all divisional headquarters. CC's endeavour in this regard is realy commendable. The plight of the working conditions of staff need to be addressed.
